Denise Crosby’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Denise Crosby Net Worth: Denise Crosby is an American actress who has a net worth of $6 million dollars. Denise Crosby was born November 24, 1957 in Hollywood, California. She is best known for portraying Security Chief Tasha Yar in Season One of Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as Yar’s daughter, the half-Romulan Commander Sela, in subsequent seasons. She starred in and produced the film Trekkies. She is the paternal granddaughter of entertainer Bing Crosby and the illegitimate daughter of Marilyn Scott and actor Dennis Crosby. Since she was born out of wedlock, her mother pursued a sensational, three-year-long lawsuit against her father, at the conclusion of which he was ordered to pay child support and legal fees. This deeply embarrassed Dennis Crosby and his famous father, actor and singer Bing Crosby. Bing Crosby died when Denise was only 19; the two reportedly never met. When the story of her illegitimacy surfaced during a drama class, Denise left the class out of humiliation and not long afterward posed nude for Playboy magazine (1979) in an effort she called, “…some kind of rebellion on my part, some way of saying screw you to the family image.” Denise Crosby’s first high-profile role was as Lisa Davis on the soap opera Days of our Lives. She went on to appear in other programs such as three episodes of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Models Inc., The X-Files and others. Crosby was married to Geoffrey Edwards (son of director Blake Edwards and actress Julie Andrews) from 1983 to 1990. She appeared in a few of Blake Edwards’ films, including 10, Skin Deep, Trail of the Pink Panther and Curse of the Pink Panther. Crosby is currently married to Ken Sylk and they have one son, August William Sylk (1998).

John Mayall Net Worth: John Mayall is an English blues singer, guitarist, organist and songwriter who has a net worth of $5 million. With a career that spans over 60 years, John Mayall is best known as the founder John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, a band which has included some of the most famous blues and blues rock musicians over the years, including Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Mick Taylor, Don “Sugarcane” Harris, Harvey Mandel, Larry Taylor, Aynsley Dunbar, Hughie Flint, Jon Hiseman, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Andy Fraser, Johnny Almond, Walter Trout, Coco Montoya and Buddy Whittington. John Mayall was born November 29, 1933 in Macclesfield, United Kingdom. In 1965, with Eric Clapton as their new guitar player, the Bluesbreakers attracted considerable attention. That summer the band cut a couple of tracks for a record, including the singles “I’m Your Witchdoctor” and “Telephone Blues”. By the start of the ’70s Mayall had relocated to the United States where he spent most of the next 15 years recording with local musicians for various labels. In August 1971, Mayall produced a jazz-oriented session for bluesman Albert King. In 1982, Mayall was reunited with Mick Taylor, John McVie and Colin Allen for a two-year world tour from which a live album would emerge, though not until a decade later. In celebration of his 70th birthday, Mayall reunited with special guests Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor and Chris Barber during a fundraiser show, Unite for Unicef concert, which was captured on film for a DVD release. In 2005, Mayall was awarded an OBE in the Honours List. In November 2008, Mayall announced on his website that he was disbanding the Bluesbreakers to cut back on his heavy workload and give himself the freedom to work with other musicians. Three months later a solo world tour was announced with Rocky Athas on guitar, Greg Rzab on bass and Jay Davenport on drums. Tom Canning, on organist, joined the band for the tour, which began in March of 2009. Mayall continues to tour with the same backing band, minus Canning, who left due to other priorities. He was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2016.
