Burton was fifth attending Withington Girls’ School in manchester. Sarah first enrolled at Manchester Polytechnic participating in the art foundation course. However, she opted to do fashion over art studying Print Fashion at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. In her third year, she joined Alexander McQueen as an intern.
