Where Is Jameis Winston Now Today?
Jameis Winston’s season has been cut short after he suffered a knee injury in the New Orleans Saints’ Week 8 match with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As per the NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, he sustained a torn ACL. Winston is expected to miss the rest of the season after an MRI. Rapoport said that the QB’s MCL has also been damaged.
According to preliminary testing, Winston tore his ACL after being pulled to the ground by linebacker Devin White early in the second quarter.
After signing a one-year contract, Winston was expected to become a free agent to return to New Orleans this summer. The healing process, especially with MCL injury and the ACL rupture, will decide how his career progresses.
