Ronnie R. Campbell, an American politician and a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, first elected in a special election in 2018 has died.
Campbell was born in 1954 and died on December 13, 2022 after a battle with cancer. He was 68 years.
At time of death, Campbell was married to Ellen, his wife of many years and they had five children.
However, the identities of Campbell’s children are under the wraps.
An Augusta County native, Campbell served in the House of Delegates since 2019. His time as a politician followed his career in law enforcement, notably with the Virginia State Police for 25 years.
His death was announced Tuesday by House Speaker Todd Gilbert, R-Shenandoa, who said in a statement:
