Ronnie O’ Sullivan became the grandad after his daughter, Taylor-Ann gave birth to a baby in October 2018. Following the announcement of the news, he expressed his joy at being a grandfather at the age of 42, and how he couldn’t wait to meet Zarah-Ann.
However, in an exclusive interview with the Sun, Taylor explains how the singer has rejected her attempts to introduce her baby to him. And says he has only ever spoken to her through a friend.
“He could be world champion to some, but he’s not suitable to be named ‘Dad,’ let alone ‘Grandad,'” she remarked. “Zarah-Ann will grow up with no idea who he is.”
“He’s made so many promises, yet what he says and what he does are diametrically opposed, Taylor added. The 23-year-old has only met her father 12 times in her life, and on each of those occasions, he found time to accuse her of treating him like a cash machine.
She expresses her disappointment at having her dreams for reconciliation with Ronnie destroyed when he made public his desire to see his grandchild.
Ronnie has used Taylor’s name multiple times to show his dissatisfaction with the relationship not being as close as he would like it to be. But, according to Taylor, he had never personally contacted her daughter.
As a result, Taylor-Ann has turned her back on her father. He may now never get to see his grandchild again.

Taylor-Ann Magnus, 25, is Ronnie’s daughter with Sally-Ann Magnus, with whom he had a year-long romance in the 1990s.
Sally-Ann came into Ronnie’s family home in 1996, after both of his parents were imprisoned, his father for murder and his mother for tax cheating.
However, when Ronnie’s fierce Italian mother Maria was freed from jail, she forced Sally-Ann out, and the relationship ended.
They started dating in 1994 and parted up after a year. After a month of separation, she learned she was pregnant with his daughter.
In his 2013 memoir, he stated that she “never truly was a part of her life.” Soon after, he met ex-girlfriend Jo Langley, with whom he had two children, Lily and Ronnie Jr.
However, the couple divorced amicably in 2008, forcing Ronnie to go through the courts to see their children.
And as of now, he is currently dating, Laila Rouass with whom he got engaged in 2013.
