Poker Face TV Series Review
Poker Face tv series is a crime drama mystery where Charlie is involved in every season one way or another even if she doesn’t want to.
In the series, we are introduced to Charlie who has a unique gift that allows her to tell if anyone is telling lie. Her detective ability has helped her many times and in many ways before.
Currently, she is working as a cocktail waitress in a Vegas casino, lives in a trailer and is hiding her uncanny poker bluffing reputation. While working in the casino, one of her close friends meets her end for unknown reasons.
Equipped with her unique ability, she tries to find the culprit behind the murder but in the event gets entangled with the powerful underworld and makes enemies out of them. Now, she is on a run from the danger and she doesn’t know to what extent it will affect her life.
Now, on run from her enemies, she is forced to stop in different places on her Plymouth Barracuda to make a pit stop. On her adventure, she is forced into different murders where she has to help to find the murderer.
The context of how the movie is shown is a bit different than any usual murder mystery. The format of every episode starts with a brand new murder which is eventually solved by Charlie.
This might make every episode seem redundant to watch after watching 20 minutes of the episode but the later part of the episode shows the story of how she connects with people of that part of the town.
The episode also shows how she helps other characters which makes the episodes interesting.
