Photographer Nicola Elizabeth Frost – Age, Height, Husband

Who is photographer Nicola Elizabeth Frost?

Nicola Elizabeth Frost was born in England on 3 September 1967 – her zodiac sign is Virgo and she holds British nationality. She is a photographer, but is perhaps best known for being the mother of the famous movie actor Tom Holland.

Early life and education

Nicola was raised an only child in England by her father Robert Walter Frost who was a factory worker, and her mother Christina Winifred Berry who worked at a local supermarket. She grew up being encouraged by her parents to focus on her studying, and to pursue a college degree, which is why she enrolled at Leeds University in 1985 from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989.

While still attending high school, Nicola became interested in acting and tested her skills in the school’s drama club, however, after learning that she wasn’t very talented, she switched to her other passion – photography – and has been working as a photographer to this day.

Career as a photographer

Nicola has been staying away from the spotlight, but it is known that she has been working for around three decades as a photographer, and in particular has covered weddings, various children’s events as well as numerous parties. She has worked for many famous people as well as for her son.

Love life and husband

Nicola met her other half Dominic Holland while they were studying together at Leeds University – they were together for over three years before marrying in a private ceremony attended by only their closest friends and family. Dominic is an award-winning comedian, born in England on 6 May 1967 who is today best known for his own show “The Small World of Dominic Holland”. He is also the author of three novels, and won a Perrier Best Newcomer Award back in 1993.

Nicola gave birth to her and Dominic’s first son, Tom on 1 June 1996, and on 14 February 1999, their twin sons Sam and Harry were born, and their fourth and last son Paddy was born on 6 December 2004 – all four boys have become actors.

As of August 2020, the family of six is leading an apparently happy life together at their home in London, England.

Hobbies and other interests

Nicola has been interested in travelling since her teenage years, and her job as a photographer has made it possible for her to visit many European countries such as Italy, Spain and France. She has also been to the US on multiple occasions, staying in states such as Texas and California – Nicola has also been to Japan and China in Asia and in Egypt in Africa.

She is a lover of animals and has had several pet dogs and cats, when she was younger spent many hours volunteering at a local animal shelter.

In her spare time, Nicola likes to watch movies, and her favorite actors and actresses are Anthony Hopkins, Jodie Foster and Brooke Smith, and some of her favorite movies are “The Silence of the Lambs”, “Hannibal” and “The Two Popes”.

Age and height

Nicola’s age is 52. She has long brown hair and brown eyes, her height is 5ft 5ins (1.65m) and she weighs around 125lbs (57kgs).

As of August 2020, her net worth has been estimated at over $200,000 while her son Tom’s net worth has been estimated at over $15 million.

Who is Nicola’s son Tom Holland?

Thomas Stanley Holland is today perhaps best known for his portrayal of Spiderman in the superhero movie “Captain America: Civil War” in 2016, as well as in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017 and in “Avengers: Infinity War” in 2018.

Tom became interested in acting while attending the Roman Catholic Preparatory School Donhead, and after completing his elementary education, was enrolled at Wimbledon College from which he matriculated in 2014 – while at Wimbledon, Tom practiced dancing and was because of it bullied by his peers. He went on to attend The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, at which he was more focused on dancing rather than on acting, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2018.

He launched his acting career on 28 June 2008, when he appeared in “Billy Elliot the Musical”, then in 2009 he was invited to appear in the show “The Feel Good Factor”.

He made his debut voicing performance in 2011 when he lent his voice to Sho in the British version of the Studio Ghibli’s animated movie “The Secret World of Arriety”. In 2012, he appeared in the Spanish disaster movie “The Impossible”, and in October 2013, he portrayed the lead character Isaac in the romantic speculative movie “How I Live Now” – in the same year, he starred alongside Tom Hardy in the drama movie “Locke”.

The year 2015 saw him appear in four episodes of the British TV series “Wolf Hall”, and he also starred in the historical adventure movie “In the Heart of the Sea”.

He portrayed Bradley Baker in 2016 in the Canadian psychological thriller movie “Edge of Winter”, and in the following year appeared in the biographical adventure movie “The Lost City of Z”. He went on to star in the Irish medieval movie “Pilgrimage” in 2017, and most recently appeared in the American computer-animated spy comedy movie “Spies in Disguise”. He has recently been cast to appear in the upcoming psychological thriller movie “The Devil All the Time”, and the science fiction movie “Chaos Walking”, both based on the eponymous books.

He has won over 10 awards with his first having been a Hollywood Film Award for Spotlight in 2012.

He went on to win a St. Louis Film Critics Association Special Merit in 2012 as well, a London Film Critics’ Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year in 2013 and a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in 2017. Two of the most recent awards he has received are a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer Movie Actor in 2019 and a Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Superhero in 2020.

Tom is a lover of animals and has a pet dog called Tessa.

He is a huge fan of soccer and cheers for Arsenal F.C. from London.

He is also a philanthropist, and is supporting The Brothers Trust which has over the years gathered a lot of money for many charitable causes.
