Peter Thomas (Cardiff Rugby) children: Did Petter Thomas have kids?

One of the longest-serving chairs in professional European club rugby was Peter Thomas.

Peter Thomas, a former Cardiff chairman and businessman, passed away at the age of 79.

Having played for Cardiff RFC in the 1960s, Thomas later served as the club’s manager before relocating to a Welsh region in 2003.

Before resigning as chairman in 2018, Thomas had made his first investment in the club in 1994.

The area stated in a statement that Thomas, its life president, passed away quietly at home on Wednesday, surrounded by his family.

Thomas spent more than six decades connected to Cardiff.

He was a former hooker who made 11 appearances for the club before rising to prominence as chairman and one of the key figures in Welsh football.

Besides his wife Babs, Thomas is survived by his four children, Holly, Deborah, Steph, and Rhod, as well as nine grandkids. Wales’ 1998–1999 “rebel season” saw Cardiff team up with Swansea to compete against England’s elite teams.

Cardiff Blues, a region that was established in 2003 and whose name was changed to Cardiff Rugby for the 2021–22 season, marked the beginning of Welsh rugby’s transition from clubs to elite level regions.
