Peter Hegseth is an American television personality and author, currently working as the co-host of Fox & Friends on Fox News Network.
He is an American National Guard officer who was the former executive director of some political advocacy groups such as Concerned Veterans for America and Vets For Freedom. He was considered to lead the US Department of Veteran Affairs in the Trump Administration, but David Shulkin was selected instead.
He was born in Forest Lake, Minnesota, on June 6, 1980. He did his high school studies at Forest Lake Area High School and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University. A decade later, he received his Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University.
He has been active in politics since his undergraduate days at Princeton. He is a strong Donald Trump supporter and vocal ally in his 2016 presidential campaign and served as an occasional advisor during Trump’s presidency.
