Olivia Williams Manning is a social activist. She is known for her work on ESPN SportsCentury (1999) and The Book of Manning (2013).
She was born on January 12, 1953, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, United States.
Olivia comes from the family that runs the iconic Williams Brothers General Store in Philadelphia. The general merchandise store is currently being managed by her brother, Sid Williams.
Olivia earned a degree in elementary education from the University of Mississippi.
She served as one of the chairpersons for the Longue Vue House & Gardens fundraiser called Sentimental Journeys. Olivia also oversaw the Whitney Zoo-to-do by Audubon Zoo.
Olivia was also a fixture for the Junior League, the Red Cross and the American Heart Association.
Olivia Williams has been married to New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning since 1971.
She and her husband Archie launched the Manning Family Fund intending to give back to the Mississippi community.
In 2011, Olivia Williams was awarded the Legacy Award by the Ole Miss Women’s Council of Philanthropy.
