Abstract This seminar is aimed at knowing the working principle of an obstacle detection robot which has an ultrasonic sensor that automatically senses the presence of an obstacle in the path. Whenever there is no obstacle, its working principle is limited. The obstacle detection mechanism is managed by an ultrasonic sensor, a microcontroller based unit and a few D.C. motors to rotate the wheels of the robot
