As per the Annapolis, Maryland, school, Luke Gabriel Bird, a US Naval Academy Midshipman, has died. Luke was the son of the famous author, Chad Bird.
The United States Navy is a federal service academy located in Annapolis, Maryland. It was founded on October 10, 1845, during George Bancroft’s time as Secretary of the Navy.
The Naval Academy is the second oldest of the five military schools in the United States, educating midshipmen for duty in the US Navy and Marine Corps officer corps.
Recently, one midshipman passed away because of a hiking accident. Midshipman 1st Class Taylor Connors, 24, also died last month while on leave in Philadelphia. The school stated that there was no evidence of foul play and that the events surrounding his death were being investigated.

As per the obituary, Luke Gabrial Bird was a US Naval Academy Midshipman. His father said he was the best son a father could ever have.
Gabriel was a gifted man who always inspired everyone around him and gave his 100% to everything. He didn’t know anything else around him.
He was a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy and was studying overseas at the Chilean Military Academy this year, but tragically, he did not return home.
His father mentioned that Luke is a baptized child of the Heavenly Father, and he is with them currently. He also stated that they were devastated after the incident, but they were dealing with it. Chad said that he had never felt this type of pain in his life.

What Happened To Luke Gabriel Bird? Cause Of Death
As per Luke Gabriel Bird’s father, Chad Bird, the cause of death has been defined as a hiking accident in Chile. He was just 21 years old. On his social media, his father has provided the obituary for Luke.
The school waits 24 hours after contacting the next-of-kin before identifying the midshipman. Midshipmen, instructors, and staff were alerted earlier in the day on Sunday.
“During this time of sadness, the Naval Academy is assisting the midshipman’s family, friends, and loved ones,” the Naval Academy said in a message Sunday.
