Nyemiah Supreme Career
After she graduated high school she landed a dance audition that put her on a national tour with the likes of Chris Brown & Lil’ Mama. After a year and a half on the road, Nyemiah returned home and started working for NY Rapper Juelz Santana as a personal assistant.
The job involved her sitting in on many recording sessions with some of the best artists in the game and Nyemiah quickly came to see this is what she wanted to do with her life.
After leaving the job with Juelz she starting honing her craft as an MC and started booking studio sessions where she began experimenting and creating her music.
In 2011 she had a chance meeting after she bumped into Jim Jones on Jamaica Avenue a famous shopping area in her neighborhood. They had a quick catch up and when she mentioned to him that she was rapping, he invited her to come to his studio so he could check her out.
From there he ended up putting her on his single “Everybody Jones”, she appeared in the single’s video as well and was asked to perform at Hot 97’s Summer Jam in front of 65,000 people. She felt right at home on that stage, a place where an entertainer truly feels alive.
Supreme has since released her mixtape BAD that embodies female empowerment with a comedic appeal and has shot a set of videos from it as well. The cover pays homage to the late Michael Jackson, the greatest performer of all time. This girl has no end in sight and will be blazing trails all the while.
Nyemiah Supreme In Sisterhood of Hip-Hop
Nyemiah Streeter, best known as Nyemiah Supreme, is best known for her 2013 debut single “Rock & Roll”, featuring mentor Timbaland. She has also danced backup for numerous R&B acts. In 2015 she released “No Questions featuring K-Camp.
She appeared on Sisterhood Of Hip Hop in August of 2014 and the show featured many famous singers as guest stars. Rapper T.I.produced docu-series follows the lives of aspiring “fences” around the country just trying to rap their way to the top of the music game.
And for those who have followed the cast since day one, it’s not hard to remember that last season ended on a positive note with Siya recommitting her career to longtime manager and R&B sensation, Tank, Brianna Perry dropping her hit single, “Ugly Girls” and Diamond looking for a way to balance her relationship and career goals at the same damn time! And we can’t forget the girls’ collaborative remake of Queen Latifah’s “U-N-I-T-Y!” This season, fans will be introduced to Audra the Rapper’s “ratchet soul” and star-studded -and growing- a body of work.
Nyemiah Supreme will not be returning to Sisterhood Of Hip Hop this season. I felt she wasn’t a good fit with the other female rappers and fellow rapper Diamond, wasn’t feeling Nyemiah Supreme at all and the two always clashed.
That was primarily because Diamond felt she was and still is the sh$t and Nyemiah Supreme will never be on her level. However, Diamond is back on the hit reality show and Nyemiah Supreme is making money and music. Who has the last laugh now?
The pretty rapper is an all-around entertainer who has put out mixtapes titled BAD and PRE-GAMING. As a dancer since the age of five, she immediately developed a passion to perform on stage. After high school, she became a backup dancer on the Chris Brown tour. Through mutual friends, she met rapper Juelz Santana and became his intern.
Timbaland helped her producer what would become her single “Rock & Roll.” He then produced Nyemiah’s EP, “There Can Be More Than 1.”
