Nicola Cross Murder Case Update, Where Is Marcin Porczynski?

A court has heard that a man admitted to a guarded hospital after killing a mother of two told medics that he had to sacrifice her to preserve his own family. Nicola Cross was a 37-year-old woman who sadly became a victim of murder.

It has been seven years since this incident. People were horrified to hear this news and felt terrible sadness for the woman’s children and husband, who lost their mother and wife. Some people believe that the murderer should be severely punished.

Who Was Nicola Cross?

On September 14, 2015, Nicola “Nikki” Cross kissed her two kids goodnight before tucking them into bed at their Hemel Hampstead home.

Three hours away in Hull, where her husband Daniel was on a business trip, a strange man showed up at Nikki’s home and demanded entrance around 10:30 p.m.

When the odd man broke into the house, Nikki called Daniel to discuss how she and the kids could flee somewhere secure. On the evening of September 14, 2015, Nicola Cross, 37, lost her life defending her two young children while her husband was out on business.

At around 11.30 p.m., a nearby vehicle mechanic named Marcin Porczyski forced his way into the home while in a psychotic state, and the horrified mother immediately dialed her husband, Dan.

He entered a plea of guilty to manslaughter rather than murder in 2016 at St Alban’s Crown Court based on diminished culpability.

The murderer had paranoid schizophrenia and discovered during the police inquiry that he had heard voices pleading with him to help starving children.

After killing Cross, 37, Marcin attempted to remove her two young children from home in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Grovehill-Hemel Murder Case Update

On Monday night, when Mrs. Cross’s husband was away at work, the suspect, a 25-year-old man, was reportedly acting suspiciously close to her home in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Around 10.30 p.m., police spoke with the unidentified individual and recorded his information. However, as no crime had been reported, they chose not to arrest him.

Police were called back to the street, lined with three-story terraced homes. Just an hour later, they discovered Mrs. Cross dead inside her house, with her two small children, sound asleep upstairs.

The victim operated a greeting card business out of the Dunlin Road home, where she resided with her husband, Danny, who owns a computer company, and their two children, a son, 6, and a daughter, 3.

Mr. Cross was at work when the robbery and murder took place. Although he and his wife have been identified locally, authorities have not yet verified their identity.

Where Is Marcin Porczynski Now?

Based on reduced responsibility, Marcin Porczynski of Claymore Avenue in Hemel Hempstead pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

He had been hearing voices for up to two years before the killing and was reportedly experiencing paranoid schizophrenia at the time of the attack.

While Mrs. Cross was on the phone with her husband, working away in Hull, he broke into her house. She received ten stab wounds.

Early in 2015, Porczynski moved to the UK to start a job. He admitted to the physicians that he thought he had to murder Mrs. Cross to save his family in Poland.

Judge Andrew Bright QC mandated Porczynski’s detention at Nottinghamshire’s Rampton Secure Hospital under a hospital order with a restriction and an indefinite time limit.

Judge Bright informed him that Nicola Cross was speaking on the phone with her husband Daniel as you were breaking in.

She advised him to hold on while she went to examine a noise she had heard. By then, you had entered the kitchen and removed a knife from a block.

Nicola Cross bravely tried to defend herself, her two small children, and herself from you, but she was helpless against the brutal knife attack you launched at her. ”

Mr. Cross made the following remark in a victim statement to the court: “He can never forgive himself for not being there to protect her.”
