Niall Horan is a popular singer and songwriter. He went to Mary’s College (Irish: Coláiste Mhuire), a Catholic boys school, and St. Kenny’s National School, both of which are in his hometown of Mullingar.
Horan attempted to play the guitar his brother had purchased for his wedding, but he was unable to do so.
Horan, who was 11 at the time, learned how to play the guitar by watching YouTube videos. When Horan started singing in the car one day when she was with him, his aunt realized he had talent.
At first, she had assumed the radio was playing. He gave a performance in the Mullingar Arts Centre as a youngster for the Shamrocks, the neighborhood football team, at a fundraiser.
Also, he had secured a support spot at the Academy club in Dublin alongside former X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels.
