After 16 years of marriage, R&B singer Ralph Tresvant has dumped his wife Amber, and he obviously doesn’t waste time seeking a new girlfriend. The lead singer of The Latest Version has gone on by marrying Monique Debarge.
It’s not obvious when he and Monique began seeing each other, however by sharing an image of her with her new guy to mark the beginning of 2020, Monique herself made their Instagram relationship official. “After all, its 2020 #2020vision Cheers!”After all, her 2020 #2020vision Cheers!
After rumours of marital issues, Ralph declared his breakup from his partner, Amber, earlier this year. In September 2004, the longtime pair tied the knot and held a joint wedding with Ricky Bell and Amy Correa, Ralph’s pal and bandmate. They share a son called Dakari Tresvant, who is 20 years old.
Amber, who is a simulated artist and graphic art creator, grew up admiring New Version as a teenage child. They met for the first time when she was just 13 years old and when they reunited years later, she was already married to Shelly, his love from school days. Amber and Shelly had three children together, but after his suspected multiple affairs, they divorced in 1996.
In an episode of the famous comedy series “House Party” Amber featured and participated in a biographical documentary named “The New Edition Story” about her husband’s music group. Shortly after she married Ralph, she also released a solo album and recorded two soundtrack songs for the movies ‘Money Will Not Buy You Love’ and ‘Something Greater than You and I.’
As for Ralph’s new girlfriend Monique, she was formerly married to another R&B singer, DeBarge’s family party DeBarge’s El DeBarge. She and her ex-husband have four children together. She also holds his last name since their divorce several years back.
