Neville Eugenton Staple, sometimes credited as Neville Staples, is a Jamaican-born English singer, known for his work with the 2 Tone ska band the Specials, as well as with his own group, the Neville Staple Band. He also performed with Ranking Roger in the supergroup Special Beat.

Neville Staple is married to Christine Staple. His wife Christine Staple and long-time friend Daddy Woody, a Jamaican DJ/artist, also provide vocals on the album.

Neville’s wife/manager Christine Sugary Staple began performing with the band in 2015/16. Neville, 61, says:
“If it wasn’t for Christine Sugary Staple, I wouldn’t be here now. “She has saved my life twice, firstly when I suffered a severe kidney infection and then by taking me to the right doctors who diagnosed and treated me for epilepsy and post-stroke symptoms.
“Her strength, determination, and quick thinking are amazing.”
