Requirements
- Applicants of this visa intend to visit the Netherlands for sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation purposes.
- Applicants intending to visit friends and family in the Netherlands should also secure a tourist visa.
- You are to provide an invitation letter from your friends and relatives in the Netherlands, a letter of invitation from the host should be provided.
- The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host. Valid contact details of the host should be stated in the letter.
- You are not permitted to be enrolled in any institution or school in the Netherlands.
- If employed you are to provide the following documents:
- Employment contract
- Current bank statement of the latest 6 months
- Leave permission from the employer.
- Income Tax Return (ITR) form or Certificate of Income Tax deducted at the source of salary
- Applicants of the visa are free to attend festivals and events that are of interest to them.
- If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided along with a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.

- Proof of the incentive of returning to your country at the expiry of this visa is required.

Requirements
- The Business Visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of engaging in business activities while they are in the Netherlands.
- You are permitted to attend seminars, trade fairs, and conferences relating to their profession during their time in the country.
- An invitation letter from the Dutch company you will be visiting and their detailed address accompanied with the dates of your visit.
- A certificate from your employer stating/allowing your business travel should be provided. The letter should introduce the applicant and state the nature and duration of the business leave.
- If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided.
- Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.
- You are not permitted to take up jobs while in the country or seek public funds.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents should be provided.
- A business bank statement of the latest 6 months is required.
- Proof of paid visa fees should be provided.
- You are expected to exit the country on or before the visa expires.
Netherlands Student Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The Netherlands student visa is for Congolese students who have the intention of studying in a school in the Netherlands.
- Applicants of this visa should apply for a provisional residence visa also known as the MVV visa. Afterwards, the host institution will then apply for a full residence permit on the traveler’s behalf.
- To apply for an MVV visa you will need a valid passport and at least one passport page photocopy.
- Proof that you are able to support yourself financially is required. It is expected that you have enough money to spend at least 850 euros per month.
- You must have been accepted into a recognized school/institution of choice before applying for this visa.
- This institution will need to provide you with a letter of admission. This is proof that you can attend lectures and write exams at school.
- You are to provide Certificates and transcripts of the schools you previously attended.
- Applicants of this visa are allowed to work part-time as long as it does not interfere with their studies.
- An extension of this visa can be granted to cover the full duration of your program.
- Student visa applicants are required to undergo a medical test for tuberculosis.
- If you are a minor traveling without your parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents should be provided. Also, an unabridged original copy of your birth certificate is required.
