The 49-year-old was last seen on security footage strolling into Parc des Bateliers on Gouin Boulevard on February 17. Kirandeep Chumber, her daughter, led the months-long hunt for her mother. She claims that her mother suffered from depression, reports Montreal City News.
On February 17, police discovered the lady had left her wallet and phone at home and just drove away. Her car was discovered. But it was abandoned, with the keys still in the ignition.
Investigators found the dead body on April 17, 2022. Investigators confirmed her identity on April 23, 2022. They also said that the death was not a criminal act.
