Who is Vyvan Le?
Vyvan Le was born on 2 November 1995, in the Netherlands, and is a social media personality as well as a model, best known from amassing hundreds of thousands of followers on the website Instagram. She mainly posts photos of her modeling, showcasing fashionable items, life events, and selfies which have been a hit to her many followers.
The Wealth of Vyvan Le
As of early-2020, Vyvan Le’s net worth is estimated to be over $1 million, earned largely through a successful career online. She’s gained numerous collaborations and sponsorships thanks to her online fame, and also earns a regular monthly income through support by fans on her Patreon account.
Early Life and Online Beginnings
Vyvan grew up in the Netherlands though it struck many as unusual because she has primarily Asian features, and was raised in a Chinese and Vietnamese family. At a young age, she aspired for fame and wealth, leading her to discover the website Instagram. She began posting on the website in 2015 and over the years, her fame on the site increased, one of the reasons is due to her looks, which many found appealing.
The photo and video sharing service is one of the most popular social media platforms of recent years. It allows users to upload content to the public.
Instagram is responsible for helping the careers of many aspiring models, leading some of them to find consistent work and even elevating some to professional model status. The website has become very lucrative for many women, particularly those into modeling, fitness, and the like. It is also a big hub for celebrities who want to post photos and videos without things getting too personal.
Rise to Fame and Modeling Opportunities
Le accrued hundreds of thousands of subscribers as she showcased her high-end lifestyle. She posted a lot of selfies and photos with herself in bikinis or other clothes that flaunted her assets. She had the height and the looks to work as a model, leading her to get signed to the agency LA First Model.
She also gained the attention of several companies who wanted to use her popularity to help promote their products, a popular practice on Instagram.
She became a model for the clothing company Superdown, an online retailer focused on women’s clothing, selling various types of clothes, from bikinis to everyday wear, and club attire. She also began working with another online shop called Revolve, which like her other sponsors, also focuses on clothing for women. The company is known for hiring various professional models, while also working with Instagram models to help ensure that they have more reach with their products.
She also became a model for Majorelle Collection, owned by designer and social media personality Rachel Zeilic, who was previously a lawyer but who found success in the fashion world of Australia.
Expanding Her Reach
As her followership grew, Vyvan started looking into other avenues to help increase the flow of income, including other platforms and social media sites. She experimented a bit with YouTube which is a video sharing platform, known for helping many content creators rise to fame, bringing them wealth through advertising revenue. One of the reasons a lot of people consider YouTube is because of its popularity, with many people using the site daily.
Vyvan created a channel to focus more on travel blogging, documenting some of her trips across Asia. In 2019, she uploaded a video of her traveling to Hong Kong, and later followed it up with a trip to her roots in Vietnam. However, she later found that it was difficult to maintain this type of channel as it required her to constantly look into what type of content she could produce. Success on YouTube meant that one had to look into consistency. After producing the two videos, she has yet to upload a new one, and with no promotion on her Instagram, it seems unlikely that she will continue with it.
Finding a Home in Patreon
Like many Instagram personalities, Le found an alternate home and a consistent source of income through membership sites. A lot of social media personalities use these types of sites, offering exclusive content to their fans at the cost of a monthly subscription. It’s been particularly famous, and notorious, due to many personalities offering more adult-oriented content, with sites like Only Fans even helping fuel the sex industry.
Le hasn’t crossed the line when it comes to this type of content in setting up her Patreon account.
Users can pay her $5 to $100 a month in exchange for exclusive photos, described as risqué and not-safe-for-work (NSFW) often displaying her in sensual photos wearing bikinis or lingerie. The more users pay, the more features they gain access to, including the chance to participate in polls. The highest paying patrons gain exclusive photos and can even communicate with her directly through Snapchat. Patreon has been gaining attention due to these types of models who display erotic content for a cost – some models have reported earning thousands of dollars from their Patreon alone. Patreon has also been described as an appealing option due to how easy it is for both creators and customers.
Personal Life
It is known that Le is single, though she has been connected to professional gamer Fabian Diepstraten of “League of Legends” fame. She later confirmed that they just knew each other and were friends as both of them hail from the Netherlands.
She has expressed her love for Japan and Japanese culture, often going to the country when she can, particularly to Tokyo, and visiting famous sites of the country. She also loves anime, watching shows such as “Inuyasha’, “Naruto”, and “Ghost in the Shell”. She’s a big fan of K-pop groups too, which is a common trend among many Asian personalities.
