Naivasha Girls Secondary School is a religious organization sponsored girls boarding school offering an 8-4-4 education system. It is a provincial school standing on 17.62 hectares. It is double streamed with 412 students twenty-three teachers and twenty-two members of the Nonteaching staff.
The school originally started in 1961 as a primary school for white children only, then known as Hill School. It had classes from standard one to six.
In December 164, the school closed down when the whites left and were re-opened in 1966 as a mixed day single stream secondary school. In 1968, parents saw the need to have boarding facilities and made it a boarding school the same year.
In 1975, the school become a single girl boarding secondary school. The boy students were transferred to Koelel High School in Gilgil swapping with the girls in the same school. Four years later, the school becomes double streamed and an ‘A’ level art class was started.
The school has grown over the years. the current population is 1,000 students. The school has a national outlook because the selection of students who join form one come from all parts of the country. It is one of the best performing schools in Nakuru county.

Candidates and parents should visit the school for their official results slip. Results for all candidates and the school national, county, and local ranking can also be found from the schools’ office.
The ministry of education advises parents teachers and pupils to check the KCSE result slip for any anomaly such as incorrect candidate’s name, school name, and code as well as wrong subject grade and report to KNEC within a month after the announcement.
