Munawar Faruqui is a stand-up comedian from India whose marital status and wife have been a pique of interest. To commence his profession, he enrolled in a Graphic Designing program in 2009.

Munawar Faruqui Makes The News As The Comedian Was Arrested
Munawar Faruqui was detained, along with four other comedians, during his gig in Indore on January 1, 2020, for reportedly making lewd jokes about Hindu deities and ridiculing Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Eklavya Singh Gaur, the Hindutva organization Hind Rakshak Sangathanson and the son of local BJP MLA Malini Singh Gaur, submitted the allegation.
After a few days, footage of an argument between Gaur and Munawar became viral.
Gaur blamed Munawar for harming Hindu religious emotions by cracking jokes about Hindu Gods in the video. At the same time, Munawar calmly tried to clarify that nothing of the sort was going on.
Subsequently, Kamlesh Sharma, the Inspector of Tukaganj Police Station, informed The Indian Express that the claims against him of disrespecting Hindu deities and Union Minister Amit Shah were based on a lack of video proof.
Even though no damning evidence was found against Munawar, his bail application was denied by the Madhya Pradesh High Court for the third time. The inquiry is still ongoing and additional evidence could be discovered.

Munawar Faruqui was born on January 28, 1992, in Junagadh, Gujarat, to an Indian Muslim family.
The identities and the whereabouts of his parents and siblings, are yet to be disclosed.
Because of the aftermath of the Gujarat riots in 2002, he and his household, which includes his dad and three siblings, relocated to Dongri, Mumbai, in 2007 to restart over.
When his father became unhealthy, he was compelled to struggle for his family at 17. While in the academy, he served at a kitchenware store.
