Francesca Marlene de Czanyi von Gerber, better known by her stage name Mitzi Gaynor, is an American actress, singer, and dancer.

Mitzi Gaynor does not have children. On November 18, 1954, in San Francisco, California, Mitzi Gaynor wed Jack Bean, a talent agent and public relations manager for MCA. The couple never had kids. Following their nuptials, Bean left MCA to launch his own public relations company, Bean & Rose, where he also oversaw Gaynor’s professional career.

Mitzi Gaynor began her career in the corps de ballet after receiving ballet training as a young girl. She started performing with the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera company when she was 13 years old.

The South Pacific movie adaptation, in which Mitzi Gaynor played the lead character of Ensign Nellie Forbush, was the source of her greatest international popularity. Mitzi Gaynor received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress for her work.
