Michael May is an American actor and model well known for his roles in The WB/CW drama series One Tree Hill from 2008 to 2012 and on the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias.
Michael had booked his first movie “Good Intentions” at the age of 6 after booking several advertisements such as 790 the Zone, Belk, and a Tommy Hilfiger Runway show. At the age of 7, Michael booked his second feature film “The Lost and Found Kin.” A few months later, Rick Schroder, Lela Richon, and Nate Parker appeared in the feature film “Blood Done Sign My Name.”
At age 8, Michael landed his first TV role on One Tree Hill, a hit show. Originally cast as “Chuck Scolnik,” he started out to co-star Jackson Brundage as a day-player and “schoolyard bully.” Michael was cast in, and finally guest-starred in over thirty episodes over four seasons of One Tree Hill.
When shooting late one night, OTH producers discovered that not only was Michael an actor but he was also a singer/songwriter. He performed his original song not only on One Tree Hill episode but also on stage with co-star fellow and recording artist Warner Brothers, Tyler Hilton.
