Megan recently revealed to Closer Online exactly how she got onto Love Island, saying: “I had Instagram and I had quite a few followers on that, so I just got picked up on that.
And I was really hesitant at first because obviously, Instagram is like your filtered, Photoshopped best version of yourself. And I was like, I’m happy to share that with them but do I want to go on national TV with everyone seeing me with no makeup on. But I’m glad I did it.

Before entering the Love Island villa in 2018, Megan was a stripper and glamour model. In an interview with our friends at Grazia, Megan reflected on her time doing this, saying:
“I did it for a year – I got in, I got out, I earned my money, I didn’t hurt anyone, I don’t see why it’s so negative. Men enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, couples came in… everyone is happy!”
Although Megan no longer strips, she still enjoys modeling for magazine features and campaigns. Since leaving the villa, she has become an ambassador for Pretty Little Thing (obvs).

The press went WILD halfway through last year’s Love Island series when pictures of a younger Megan emerged – showing just how much surgery she’d had from quite a young age. She reportedly spent around £25,000 on different procedures, including a boob job, lip fillers, rhinoplasty, and botox.
In her interview with Grazia, Megan defended her decision to choose surgery, saying: “I worked so hard to get all the money I could and I feel like I can spend it any way I want. If it makes me feel better I don’t know why that’s seen as a negative thing?”
