Who is Jae Park?
Jae Park is a young Korean-American singer-songwriter best known as a member of the South Korean band, Day6. His real name is Park Jae-Hyung and he was born in Argentina. Jae was only five years old when his father brought him back to South Korea, where he lived for only two years before settling again in Cerritos, a suburb of Los Angeles County, California. There he attended Cerritos High School, and after graduation he was able to enroll at California State University, where he studied political science.
Jae has dual Korean and American nationality, he was born into a Christian family and has an older sister whose name is not yet known. Also not much is known about Jae’s parents and childhood. His career
As someone who enjoys making an impact through his musical talent, Jae Park officially started his singing career at California State University’s Long Beach campus. He took part in the preliminary audition for K-pop Star, a South Korean reality competition series aimed at finding potential next K-Pop stars. Jae was one of six contestants who qualified for the final list. They were then signed by JYP Entertainment, forming their first rock band called Day6. Jae then moved to South Korea with his parents.

In 2015, Jae Park officially became a member of JYP Entertainment’s rock band Day 6. He was the band’s electric guitarist and vocalist. Park Sungjin, the group’s lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, is also part of the team; Kang Young Hyun (Brian Kang) a rapper bassist and lead vocalist; Kim Won Pil (Wonpil) synthesizer, keyboardist and visual and Yoon Do Woon (Dowoon), drummer and maknae of the group. Junhyeok was the sixth member of the group but left the group in February 2016.
Jae and the Day6 debuted on September 7, 2015 with The Day the group’s first mini album. The band’s second EP, Rêve, was released the following year and Jae Park was involved in the production of two of the album’s songs Première fois and Du sang. Many more tracks followed and Jae was actually involved in producing them. The band finally released their debut album, Sunrise, on June 7, 2017 and it features 14 tracks including Leaning On Me, and Je Souris .. In November 2018, Jae Park accompanied other band members on their first world tour which they tagged “Youth”. The tour continued until January 2019.
