Maxim Baldry Hollyoaks

Maxim plays Liam Donovan in the film. Confident, effortlessly cool and donning a fabulous head of hair… Liam Donovan would look good if you dragged him through a hedge backward.

Rugged looks, paired with buckets of charm, and a sharp sense of humor make Liam a massive hit with the ladies, but as hard as they try, they’ll never make it past a second date! Seeing the emotional scars his mum carried from her first marriage to gangster Fraser Black left Liam terrified of connecting with other people. He steers clear of falling in love for fear he’d just end up hurting them.

As the middle child of the three Donovan brothers, Liam grew up in the shadows while Adam kept the household together and Jesse cried out for attention. Unlike his overly romantic brother Jesse, Liam does NOT do ‘Mister Sensitive’ under any circumstances, but despite their differences, the pair are a totally inseparable double act.

Maxim Baldry Lord Of The Rings

Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings show officially casts Maxim Baldry in a leading role. Penned by Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings is one of the best-selling novels of all time and spawned a slew of epic film adaptations helmed by Peter Jackson. Two years ago, Amazon shook the fantasy world when it ordered a Lord of the Rings TV series with a multi-season commitment. Despite production being underway, major details have been concealed about the upcoming fantasy series.

Set in a period long before the events of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, the series takes place in the J.R.R. Tolkien timeline known as The Second Age. Lasting 3,441 years, marking the One Ring’s conception, and ending with the defeat of Sauron’s army, The Second Age of Lord of the Rings offers plentiful story arcs and fresh faces for the saga.

Last year (2019), Amazon announced its endeavor to produce 20 episodes for the first season and has already renewed Lord of the Rings for a sophomore season. The series has already fully stocked the cast list with Markella Kavenagh as Tyra, Joseph Mawle (Game of Thrones) as the main villain Oren, and Morfydd Clark as Galadriel. Now, the project has revealed who will tackle one of the leading roles.
