Martine Kimberley Sherri Ponting (born 14 May 1976), better known by her stage name Martine McCutcheon, is an English singer, actor, and radio host. In the early 1990s, McCutcheon was a member of the pop group Milan, but it was her role as Tiffany Mitchell in the BBC’s EastEnders that gave her a household name in the United Kingdom. McCutcheon departed the show at the end of 1998 to pursue a solo musical career.
With her first song Perfect Moment, she achieved worldwide success, reaching No. 1 in five countries. Her pop career stopped owing to the bad response of her third album in 2002, which she released to various degrees of success. She has subsequently featured in a number of television shows, as well as in films such as Love Actually as ‘Natalie’ and on stage in My Fair Lady, for which she received a Laurence Olivier Award in 2002 for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle. In 2000, she published her memoirs, Who Does She Think She Is?
