With a distinguished career as a writer and producer in American television, Marta Fran Kauffman is well-known in the field. She is best known for working with her longtime friend and coworker David Crane to co-create the popular NBC comedy Friends.
Together with Kevin Bright, they both acted as the show’s executive producers.
Later, Kauffman and Crane produced Veronica’s Closet and Jesse, among other TV programs. In addition, from 2005 to 2006, Kauffman worked as an executive producer for the television program Related. Kauffman and Crane created the HBO series Dream On before her work on Friends.
