Harf attracted controversy for an interview she gave on Hardball with Chris Matthews on February 16, 2015 following the release the day before of a video by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya. In response to questioning from Matthews on the U.S.’s strategy toward ISIS, Harf said, “We cannot kill our way out of this war. We need in the medium to longer term to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s a lack of opportunity for jobs, whether …” Her critics ridiculed her on social media with the hashtag “#JobsForISIS”, which became a top-10 trending topic on U.S. Twitter.

Marie Harf Obama

Former Obama State Department spokesman Marie Harf was “sort of … offended” when asked why there is “such an open animosity to Christianity from those on the left.”

Harf rejected the idea “that there is something inherent among the left that means we don’t like Christianity.” Gosh, what would make anyone believe that?

There were several direct, Christianity-hostile actions taken during the Obama administration. Additionally, the Obama years were marked by a serious, undeniable “spike in government driven religious hostility,” primarily directed at Christians.

The segment opened with a brief replay of one of MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle’s sarcastic, condescending Wednesday comments Larry Kudlow, recently selected as the Chairman of the Trump administration’s Council of Economic Advisers. Kudlow had the unmitigated gall to mention “God’s will” in a CNBC interview. Fox & Friends co-host Lisa Boothe then mentioned Joy Behar’s description of Mike Pence and Christians in general as “mentally ill,” and Senator Bernie Sanders’ grilling of Trump nominees, including one for a budgeting post(!), over their Christian beliefs. That set up Boothe’s question: “Why is there such an open animosity to Christianity from those on the left?

Fox News’ Marie Harf Struggles To Think Of A Time When America Was ‘Great’ [Video]

Updated on: 21 August 2018

Fox News contributor Marie Harf struggled Tuesday to say whether America was ever great and questioned if President Donald Trump meant it was great “when [she] couldn’t vote.”

The comments came during a panel discussion on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” over New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo’s comment last week when he said that America “was never that great” and whether it was a career-ending move.

“It was never that great,” Cuomo said at the time — a direct comment on the president’s “MAGA” slogan. “We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged. We will reach greatness when discrimination and stereotyping against women, 51 percent of our population, is gone … and every woman is making her full contribution.”

“This is not — I’ve been a New York reporter for decades, and I covered his father. This is about Mario Cuomo not helping President Trump when he was the developer on the Riverside yards getting the mortgage when Andrew Cuomo was the head of HUD,” Fox News Eric Shawn shared. “They didn’t back him and so, therefore, he had trouble with building the Riverside. That’s what I think.”

“There is a lot of family history here. But look, Cuomo clearly flubbed what he was trying to do,” Marie Harf responded. “But I keep asking President Trump supporters, when is he referring to when America was great? When I couldn’t vote? When I couldn’t get a credit card without my husband?”

“Whoa,” Fox News Sandra Smith interjected.

“Well, no. But like, what time period?” Harf explained.

“You can’t remember when America was great,” Smith asked.

“No, no … I believe America is an exceptional country,” Harf said. “No, no … but when is President Trump referring to? When a bunch of the country felt disenfranchised? So, I don’t blame Cuomo for trying to turn the slogan around. He just didn’t do it the right way.”

Shyne’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Shyne Net Worth: Shyne is a Belizean rapper who has a net worth of $2 million dollars. Born Jamal Barrow on November 8, 1978 in Belize City, Belize, Shyne was branded by a much-publicized legal skirmish which resulted in a ten-year prison sentence. Shyne was well-known among the public before Bad Boy Records even released his debut album. The album charted well, thanks in part to all the media attention he received over the years. The album wasn’t especially memorable. The rapper had joined Puffy’s Bad Boy camp in 1999, shortly before the violent episode that same year. That night, a shooting occurred at Club New York in Manhattan, which led Shyne, Puff Daddy and Puffy’s then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez to flee the scene. Three people were wounded and when police caught up with the fleeing Bad Boys they ultimately charged Shyne and Puffy with numerous crimes, including attempted murder, one count of reckless endangerment, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon, felony gun possession, as well as one count of bribing a witness (with a diamond ring Puffy had been given by Jennifer Lopez. The court hearings in June 2000 were a media circus. A year later, Puffy was acquitted of all charges and Shyne was convicted on two counts of assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession. Shyne admitted in court to firing a gun at the club, though he said it was in self-defense. Shyne was imprisoned and would not up for parole until 2009. The shooting scandal helped generate interest in the 2000 release of Shyne’s self-titled album, which peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s album chart. The album, however, wasn’t a bona fide success. Four years later, in April 2004, surprise news came that Def Jam records had signed the imprisoned rapper to a multi-million-dollar contract and a new album was slated for the end of that year. The reportedly forthcoming album, Godfather Buried Alive, did surface months later in August 2004 and, like its predecessor, it spun off no major hits and got a weak critical response
