World champion showjumper Richard “Rich” Fellers was suspended temporarily in 2021 by the U.S. Center for SafeSport in February. It came after the” allegation of misconduct”.
At the time, the authorities mentioned that the investigation went for several months and also had witnesses involved in multiple states. They arrested Fellers for the four second-degree sexual abuse.
In Oregano they consider second-degree sexual abuse is considered a C-class felony. Afterward, his 18-year-old former student Maggie Kehring came forward saying she is relieved and grateful that people heard and understood her truth.

Rich Feller And Maggie Kehring Assault Update
Rich Feller was pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual abuse against his former student Maggie Kehring when she was 17. While Maggie claimed Rich’s wife walked in on them, Rich denied everything.
He allegedly forced his student into a sexual relationship when she was 17-years old. Maggie also added that he pestered her since she was 16.
Meanwhile, the age of consent in Oregan is 18 where Rich lived and he trained Maggie. She was just fifteen when she moved to the showjumper’s and his wife’s house for training.
Maggie later claimed that things started taking a dark turn after a year. She told the CBC News that she started getting calls from him. It went for a while where he allegedly confessed his “feeling” to Maggie.

Maggie Kehring is a survivor of sexual abuse by world champion show jumper Rich Fellers. The second PSA of the #WeRideTogether campaign introduced Maggie.
At the age of 14, she met Fellers and idolized him. She also credited him for opening up the elite and competitive sports for her. Sometimes after a while in her time in the training, she claimed he asked to pursue a sexual relationship with her.
Though she kept on denying it at the beginning, she said she eventually felt cornered and said yes. It went on until Rich’s wife Shelly walked in on them, according to Maggie.
Where Is Rich Feller Today? Jail Update
There are no updates of Rich Feller on the Internet. As per the reports of online portals in August 2021, he was pleaded not guilty.
However, he is still banned from sports after the allegation. Authorities arrested him on June 7, 2021, and booked him at Washington County Jail. He was released on bail, as per the reports.
