Mackenzie Entwistle and his parents, Margeret And Dave, are sports fanatics. His mom played volleyball, and his dad played rugby.
At age three, Entwistle began skating and jumped into playing on a team when he turned four.
After finishing his minor hockey career, he immediately entered the Ontario Hockey League, where his career has surely been a whirlwind.
His dad claims that although MacKenzie exhibited hockey talent from a young age, it wasn’t until recently that they realized his NHL potential.

Mackenzie Entwistle and his parents, Margeret and Dave Entwistle, played several sports growing up. He was born to his parents in Georgetown, Ontario, on 14 July 1999.
Mackenzie discovered his interest in ice hockey growing up, and his parents supported his dream.
Entwistle’s most challenging obstacle was when he was traded to Guelph. The youngster described it as tough on him and even on his family.
At the time, he stated that saying goodbye to his teammates, coaches, and billets was also difficult. However, his parents stand by his side through the highs and the lows.
Mackenzie is always grateful to his parents, who used to drive him to practice early morning. He still recalls stopping at Tim Hortons before heading to the rink.

Mackenzie’s mother was a volleyball athlete in her youth days. So, she values her son’s passion for ice hockey games.
She seems to be in her early-50s based on her appearance. According to THE HAMILTON SPECTATOR report, she is born in Poland.
Last year, the 23-year-old fulfilled his mom’s wish when he became the eighth member of the Blackhawks to record their first NHL goal occurred in the opening frame.
The victory became more special because it occurred on Mother’s Day. Mackenzie mentioned it during the news conference that followed the game when he spoke with the media after his memorable event.
Entwistle revealed to WGN-TV that when he contacted his mother on Mother’s Day, she urged him to get a goal for her.
After the victory, the champ said mom, if you are watching, this one is for you. Later, Margeret acknowledged her son’s NHL record-breaking goal on Twitter.

Entwistle’s dad Dave was a former rugby player who also represented Ontario in the international tournament.
Mr. Dave also played ice hockey and lacrosse in his early days. He is of English descent, born to his parents in England.
At the time of MacKenzie’s birth, his parents were residing on a cul-de-sac in the quiet Halton Hills community of roughly 31,000 residents.
Dave and his wife, Margaret, were former police officers at the Toronto Police Service. The pair frequently used missed work to attend games and tournaments.
Nevertheless, the Entwistle couple also has a daughter named Jessica (MacKenzie’s sister), who is a teacher by profession.
Mackenzie’s sister may have a better understanding of the uniqueness of MacKenzie’s experience than anyone else.
