Luxembourg Tourist Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- Luxembourg tourist visa permits recreational trips to Luxembourg.
- It is a short-stay visa valid for a minimum of 90 days every 180 days.
- All applicants are required to have a valid passport that was not issued over 10 years before the application date.
- They are also to correctly fill and sign the Schengen application form.
- It takes about 15 days to process this visa but can be longer if the embassy needs additional documents.
- This visa also allows its holder to visit friends and relatives residing in Luxembourg.

- It is also a short-stay Schengen visa valid for 90 days.
- This visa can be used to conduct businesses, sign and negotiate contracts and attend meetings in Luxembourg.
- Those attending meetings are required to pre-register for the conference or meeting.
- Business travellers are required to show that they have sufficient funds for their trip.
- Your business partner in Luxembourg is also to send a letter of invitation stating the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the business.
- If there are previous transactions between both the applicant and business partner, details of such should be provided.
- Travel medical insurance valid through the entire Schengen country is required. It must be worth a minimum of 30,000 euros.
- Applicants are to have a hotel confirmation which would be presented during their visa application.
- This visa can only be extended in special circumstances.
- It costs 60 euros to process this visa for applicants over 12 years of age.
