During a 2006 TV interview with a Norwegian television team, Lamas stated that he auditioned twice and beat out five other actors for the role. Lorenzo Lamas Ex-wife: Who Is Actress Shawna Craig?
Lamas married his fifth wife, Shawna Craig, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, after five months of dating. He announced to reporters that he was changing his name to Lorenzo Lamas-Craig. This decision was motivated by the fact that his previous wife, Shauna, retained the surname Lamas and is legally known as Shauna Lamas, and his new bride Shawna, whose given name is a homonym and nearly identical to Shauna’s, did not want to have a nearly identical full name. Lamas filed for divorce from his fifth wife in June 2018, citing irreconcilable differences.
