India Yelich O’Connor, also known as Indy Yelich’s age is 23. As the sister of singer-songwriter Lorde, she also entered the music industry.

Lorde And Her Sister Indy Yelich Has Two Years Age Difference
Yelich is 23 years old, while her sister Lorde is 25. Indy is the third of four siblings, while Lorde is the second. Yelich was born on November 12, 1998, to her father, Vic O’Connor, and her mother, Sonja Yelich.

Indy followed her mother’s footsteps and has published two poetry books, Sticky Notes, and Dudette. She wanted to make her poetry book personal; she wanted it to be trials and tribulations and a teen story.

Sticky Notes
Sticky Notes is Indy’s first poetry collection book published in 2018. Her debut collection portrays her experience with travel, love, and self-discovery in shifting emotional and physical geography.
Dudette
Her second poetry collection was published on March 31, 2022. It is an ode to the confusing early twenties: love, and heartbreak in New York City, surviving a pandemic in the suburbs, and finding hope in a rapidly evolving digital world.
In the poem of fury and love on the internet, Indy explores the city and her hometown, caught in the joy and suffering of everyday life.
She Originally Began With Her Acting Career
While speaking with Refinery29, she revealed that she was with an agency named CAA in LA; they had asked Indy to come over for pilot season for a year. She went to acting school in LA for a year and felt great, but she slowly discovered that acting wasn’t her passion.
Since she is a passion-driven person, sometimes she finds herself writing for hours, and at a time, she feels it is a family thing as her mother is a poet and her sister is a songwriter.
After realizing her true passion, she pursued writing and halted her acting career.
She Was Featured In A Magazine At The Age Of 16
Indy modeled for Remix magazine when she was 16 years old; it was her first photoshoot. She had snapped several pictures in different outfits and poses. She was wearing a baggy top and jeans while showcasing her long hair.
For her second picture, her hair was styled in a boho wavy, and she styled it with a dark-colored hat. She had also posed near the pool while sporting a full denim attire.
Indy’s Thoughts On Being Sister Of A Famous Singer
Being Lorde’s sister has helped her find her voice; she feels blessed for her sister to be well known, as it taught her many lessons. She has expressed that even though she is famous, she is still the same sister she grew up with.
