Logan Roy Family Tree In Succession

Logan Roy family tree in Succession consists of his three wives and four kids. Logan got estranged from his third wife Marcia and had a mistress named Kerry.

Logan also had two siblings and hence had a huge household filled with his children, nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Succession is an American TV series that focuses on the Roy family and is created by Jesse Armstrong.

Logan Roy was many things. He was an intelligent but volatile man, a Narcissist and an Ego-centric individual.

He was a proud man who had deeply held family values with an edge when it came to running his multi-billion dollar industry. And lastly, he had the ability to forge twisted bonds with his children, each of whom would destroy the other for a crumb of his love and admiration.

Shortly before the Second World War broke on 14 October 1938, he was born into humble circumstances in Dundee, Scotland.

The Roy family line is more important than ever after Season 4, Episode 3 of Succession. The Roy family tree started long before the events of Succession in the early 1900s.

Logan Got Married Thrice

Logan Roy Family Tree includes his three spouses and four children. Logan has three daughters from his second wife and one son from his first.

Marcia Roy is his third and final partner. His first spouse name is unknown but his second was Caroline Collingwood.

He was together with a mistress named Kerry at the time of demise.

Just like Logan, the women in his life are influential and mysterious. First, there is his unnamed first wife. Then, his second wife Caroline Collingwood, and his third and current wife Marcia Roy.

Third Spouse Marcia Roy

Logan Roy wife Marcia Roy is the third partner who remained married to him until his death. Marcia is loyal and loves her partner despite his various flaws, right up until he betrays her repeatedly.

Marcia is a woman of intelligence and is shown as cold and irritating especially when it came to speaking with Logan’s children. She has yet to earn the full trust of his kids, especially of Shiv Roy.

Second Spouse Caroline Collingwood

Being the mother of their children Kendall Roy, Roman Roym, and Shiv Roy Caroline Collingwood is the second wife of Logan Roy. At Waystar Royco, Caroline is a shareholder.

Caroline met Logan at some point and they had three children together. Meanwhile, it is not clear whether Conner was also raised by her or not as he is her stepson. She isn’t the most adoring of parents like her husband.

Roy resides in England as Caroline was an aristocrat, but eventually, she and Logan separate, leaving Logan and the kids to leave for America.

She got married at the end of Season 3 and make sure her children that her husband wasn’t influenced by the company or after her money.

First Wife

Logan Roy first wife is anonymous. The only one fact known about her is that she is the mother of Logan’s firstborn son Connor Roy.

When Connor was young she suffered mental health problems and as a result, Logan had her placed in a mental institution.

Logan Has Four Kids From Two Different Partners

Logan Roy kids names are Connor Roy, Kendall Roy, Roman Roy, and Siobhan Roy. The three sons and one daughter are from his two different marriages.

Kendall, Roman, and Siobhan are the heart of Succession. They fight when they are desperate for their father’s favor and are united when they’re all fed up with him.

Connor Roy

Connor Roy is the eldest son of Logan from his first marriage. Though being the older sibling he never got a shot at running the business.

Despite his consistent and continuous efforts, Connor has the least connection with his dad. Thus, he feels deeply insecure about his status in the family. So, he overcompensates by overreaching in aspirations, like running for president.

He was never like the rest of the Roys. As we all know that he is the only half-brother of other siblings he grows up with the stress of losing his mother at a young age. So, he grew up on his own.

Being the son of Logan he did not get any love, care, attention, and affection from him. Even he considered not attending his son’s wedding. Connor was only the son to attend the birthday of his father but he did not pay any attention to that.

He was never taken seriously by anyone in his father. For not being like his dad he is bullied by other members. Though trying to impress his father and siblings he was not taken seriously.

From a young age, he claims to have been interested in politics. He keeps on focusing his time on making his career and achieving his own personal goals.

Kendall Roy

Kendall Roy is the second eldest son of Logan from his second marriage. Kendall is prime to lead Waystar when Logan retires.

Yet, he has to gain the full trust of his father. He went to the Buckley School and Harvard University and used to party and have cocaine together. He had a cocaine problem and even had to join the rehabilitation center.

After battling with his father for various seasons it seems that he does not want the role of CEO.

Roman Roy

Roman Roy is the youngest son of Logan. Roman is the co-CEO of Waystar Royco along with his elder brother Kendall.

Roman has always been the most empathetic character in the show. He secretly works with his father and gained various knowledge about different topics.

In the early days of the show, he played the part of court jester, making crude remarks to his coworkers and subordinates, and criticizing others due to a deep insecurity brought on by his father’s parental tactics.

As time passes, he learned to secure major deals for the company from his father and also he becomes more tactful. Regrettably, he is still immature.

Siobhan Roy

Siobhan Roy is known by her nickname Shiv. Siobhan is the youngest child and the only daughter in the Roy family.

She tried to run far away from the business and strike out on her own in politics. In politics, she has an amazing talent and competence. In a sad twist of fate, earning her father’s adoration and even recognition, along with working in the family company after being virtually ignored her entire life, costs her her political career.

When her parents got separated she moved to America. She started working for Gil Eavis after working as a political consultant for Joyce Miller.

The Roy Siblings

Logan Roy has two siblings an older brother Ewan Roy and a younger sister Rose Roy. All of them grew up in poverty in Quebec, Canada.

Their mother made the decision to send them to their uncle Noah Roy’s house where they can live and spend their life. As they were staying with them, Logan and Ewan were expected to help their uncle and aunt in their print shop.

Elder Brother Ewan Roy

Logan Roy brother Ewan Roy lives in Canada. As Ewan is different than Logan in values and morals they often clash loudly.

The vocally anti-corporation Ewan abhors Logan, his company, and especially his ambitions. The family seems to be an important part of Ewan.

He went to Vietnam and volunteered for the war. He was one of the 30,000 Canadians who fought communism in Vietnam.

Youngest Sister Rose Roy

During their early lives, their younger sister Roe passed away at a young age.

The exact cause of death of her has never been disclosed and confirmed beyond the fact that she is a sensitive topic and Logan blamed himself for her death.

His Parents

Logan Roy parents include his mother Helen Roy and his estranged father. The man was raised by his uncle Noah Roy and aunt whose name is not mentioned.

Logan Roy mother Helen Roy gave birth to her children in humble circumstances in Dundee, Scotland before the second world war in 1938.

After she became a widow, she decided to send her kids to their uncle’s house in Canada.

What was possibly going to be the obituary of Logan on the news also mentioned Helen’s name. It did so in the opening.

Moreover, there is no detail regarding Logan Roy father as his name is also not mentioned in the show.

As a single mother, it was hard for Helen to care for their children so they were brought up by their uncle and aunt. Their uncle Noah Roy was incredibly hard on Logan and physically abusive.
