American actress, producer, singer, and former model Liv Rundgren Tyler was born on July 1, 1977, in New York City. At the young age of 14, she began modeling, but eventually made the decision to focus on acting instead.
She made her film debut in Silent Fall in 1994, and went on to win praise for her work in the 1995 films Heavy, Empire Records, That Thing You Do!, and Stealing Beauty. (both in 1996).
In addition to the Congressional Schools of Virginia, Tyler also attended the Breakwater School, the Waynflete School in Portland, Maine, York Preparatory in New York City, and the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California.
She left York after receiving her diploma in 1995 to pursue a career in acting. Due to her early profession, Tyler missed out on a regular upbringing, but she says she has no regrets because working kept her out of trouble and she is happy with how her life has turned out.
Tyler has worked professionally with Aerosmith, appearing in their “Crazy” music video and co-starring in Armageddon. He keeps tight ties with Rundgren and Steven Tyler.

She was raised close to Lake Sunapee and was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Mia is Liv Tyler’s half-sister; Liv Tyler’s mother is model and singer Bebe Buell. A song about Mia that her father penned was released in 1979 on the Aerosmith album Night in the Ruts.
Mia and her mother moved from New Hampshire to New York City in 1990 following their divorce in 1987. Sadly, a brain tumor that had been identified in 1997 resulted in Mia’s mother’s death in 2002.
