The names of the six trainee attorneys who cheated on the Bar exams got published by a Singapore high court. They’ve been caught in the act after two years of investigation.

 Lionel is a lawyer who has recently on the list of people who cheated on the bar examination which was held in 2020. Choo Han Teck, a High Court judge, revoked his judgment to redact the names of six trainee lawyers who cheated on the 2020 Bar test on Wednesday (April 27).

The Attorney-General had requested that the judge reverse his earlier order to redact the names of the six law graduates. Monisha Devaraj, Kushal Atul Shah, Sreeraam Ravindran, Lynn Kuek Yi Ting, Matthew Chow Jun Feng, Lionel Wong Choong Yoong, and Kushal Atul Shah are those six names.

Justice Choo stated that he originally censored the identities to allow the graduates’ recovery process to proceed peacefully and without incident. The Attorney General’s request to overturn the redaction and sealing orders got granted.

Because the exam was held online, they were able to cheat more easily. The test had opened a book, allowing candidates to consult their notes.

In six of the papers, five of the students utilized WhatsApp to exchange their answers, and Lionel was one of them. They were forced to retake all six exams.

Three of the papers were cheated on by the sixth student, who conspired with another examinee. One law graduate’s application for admission to the Bar was postponed for a year as a result of the punishment.

Not just Lionel, but also 11 other educated lawyers were caught cheating on the 2020 Bar Exam. In Singapore, law graduates must complete a set of tests known as Part B to be admitted to the Bar.
