Jim Brown net worth: Jim Brown is an American former professional football player and actor who has a net worth of $50 million. Jim Brown earned his net worth as a professional football player, actor and real estate investor. His athletic career began in college at Syracuse University. During this time, Brown excelled at a variety of sports besides football, such as track, basketball, and most notably, lacrosse. It was in football, of course, that Jim truly excelled. He became a first round draft pick in 1956 for the Cleveland Browns. His career as a running back for the Browns is still legendary. Brown was recently named the greatest professional football player of all time by the magazine Sporting News. However, it was in 1964 that he first began what would become his second career: That of an actor. He made his film debut in the western action Rio Conchos. He went on to appear in a variety of films, including most notably The Dirty Dozen. It was during production on The Dirty Dozen movie that he announced his (premature, in the eyes of many) retirement from football. Other movies to feature Jim Brown include the late 80s and 90s spoofs I’m Gonna Git You Sucka and Mars Attacks! as well as the Al Pacino Cameron Diaz football flick Any Given Sunday, directed by Oliver Stone.
