Lily Conroy was a 17 years old teen from Springville who live just a few blocks away from her boyfriend Masao Kaanga. Masao Kaanga was 19 years old and attended the same school as Lily Conroy. The two had a brief dispute that led to their sad breakup on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. A day later, Masao phoned his mother that he would be at the park, just to inform her about his recent whereabouts.
Later, police would find both the teens in their car parked at the park. Lily Conroy was fatally shot by her ex-boyfriend who then proceeded to turn the gun against himself. The horrific murder-suicide attempt shocked the Sprigville community who are now attending the May 19th assigned tribute session to the departed souls.
Simialrly, blue ribbons were tied around the treelines of the Wildflower Way to honor departed Lily for her blue eyes. Her classmates also wore their Sunday best to the class session to share their respect for her departed soul.

Masao Kaanga has been identified as the 19 years old suspect in the brutal murder of his ex-girlfreind Lily Conroy, whom he shot to her death. Masao also fired a shot at himself in a suicide attempt.
