Lena Gercke Biography
Lena Johanna Gercke is a German fashion model and television host. She won the first cycle of Germany’s Next Topmodel and is the host of Austria’s Next Topmodel (cycles 1-4). Gercke was born on February 29, 1988 in Marburg,Germany and grew up in Cloppenburg, where she attended the Liebfrauenschule Cloppenburg (ULF), a Roman Catholic gymnasium, completing her abitur in 2007. Gercke is a hobby chess player. She has a sister and two half-sisters, who are her father’s daughters.

Sami Khedira and Lena announced their split in July, 2015, they dated for four years, two of those they were engaged. It was reported that Lena moved on, the lucky guy is Kilian Müller-Wohlfahrt, 35, the son of Bayern Munich’s doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt. Lena later confirmed they relationship. Khedira remains single.

On August 14, 2004, Gercke won a casting call for fast food chain Burger King. She was represented by Langer-Pueschel who booked her for photoshoots, catwalk shows, and dance performances. At the beginning of 2006, she attended a casting call for Germany’s Next Topmodel hosted by Heidi Klum. Upon winning the competition, she received an advertising contract with the fashion label OuiSet, a modeling contract with IMG Models in Paris, the cover shoot for the June 2006 issue of German Cosmopolitan and an advertising contract with Microsoft for Windows Live.
She also appeared in magazines such as the American issues of Cosmopolitan, Sports Week, Glamour and on the cover of French Votre Beauté. She was featured in print campaigns of H&M, Mexx and Geox. In 2010 she walked on New York Fashion Week for the Spring season of Custo Barcelona.
In 2013, Gercke became a judge on Das Supertalent. In 2014, her sister joined the show for a surprise audition. In 2015, she hosted the prime time hidden camera show Prankenstein.

Lena Gercke: surprising separation from Kilian Müller-Wohlfahrt

After two and a half years, the relationship between top model Lena Gercke and Kilian Müller-Wohlfahrt has failed. The ex-pair is silent about the reasons so far.
Only in September last year were Lena Gercke and Kilian Müller-Wohlfahrt moved to a shared apartment in the Munich district of Bogenhausen, followed shortly after a holiday together on Zanzibar. The son of FC Bayern team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt was his girlfriend when his father died in early 2017. “If you think your world is breaking apart, all that counts is this one person who will bring you back to life,” the 2006 GNTM winner wrote on Instagram. Now the relationship has surprisingly failed.

“We split up a few weeks ago in all friendliness and with the utmost respect for each other, and we understand that further details will not be shared with the public,” the model said. And his manager Britta Friedrich confirms to the magazine “Bunte” : “Yes, it’s true, Lena is going her own way now.” Details on the reason for the separation were not given by Gercke and the sports physician. However, new partners do not exist.
The separation comes as a surprise
Karin Müller-Wohlfahrt, the mother of Lena Gercke’s ex-boyfriend, should disappoint the surprising news. Opposite the “Bild” newspaper she had raved in the highest tones of her daughter-in-law. There was even talk of marriage. “She’s a smart, sensitive, humorous person, she’s the best thing that could happen to our son, and I’d like them to marry,” she said. The 30-year-old Gercke does not have much time for reflection. As her Instagram profile reveals, she was recently in Bali to photograph her swimwear collection “Leger by Lena Gercke” in cooperation with the online mail order company About You. After that she traveled to Monaco.
