Lance Zierlein wife Nicole Zierlein is a Texas Longhorn fan who is a fund of hiking and traveling. Lance and Nicole have five children.
Lance is a sports analyst and radio show commentator in Houston, Texas. He has been with many shows like the KGOW 1560 AM and KILT 610.
With his graduation from Tulane University, Lance established his own company called PigSkin PSorts, which featured sports analysis. Later, he began to come to various radio shows.
His radio career started from KIL 160 alongside his partner, Nick Griffin, on the weekends. Furthermore, he is also the co-founder of KGOW news station. Lance achieved the Best Talk Radio award from the Houston Press in 1980.

Lance tied the knot with Nicole Zierlein on 29th June 2002.
Nicole remembered her 17th anniversary in 2019 and mentioned how hectic the wedding day was for them. She remarked how their ceremony interfered with the evening mass, so they clicked their photographs early on before entering the church.
She also humorously stated how Lance had seen her wedding gown before she even purchased it.
The priest who had blessed their marriage had also baptized their kids and gave the first five communions to the household.
The couple first met each other in June 2000. Nicole had returned from her Europe travel and had her love life in a crummy place. However, their relationship soon turned romantic, and they wedded two years later. The couple shares 23 years of togetherness in 2023.

Nicole traveled to Brazos Bend State Park, Texas, on 22nd January 2023. She said she did a ten-mile hike and shared pictures of the birds and swamps.
On 25th July 2021, Nicole vacationed in Caprock Canyons State Park with her kids. She stated how it was one of the places she had been dying to visit since Day 1. She also added how she did not spend much time there since she did a short hike and saw only two bison.
Nicole then traveled to Big Bend National Park on 23rd May 2021. She stated how it was hot climbing the Laguna Meadows. She also discussed how her hiking plan did not go as expected since the original trail caught fire. She had to reroute to another path, which was tougher.
Nicole’s Boston Marathon Story
Nicole ran the Boston Marathon on 19th April 2022.
She shared her endeavor on her Instagram and talked about how she pictured the finish line and prayed non-stop to reach the end. She stated that the hard work she put in two years ago during the qualification phase paid off.
Nicole also emotionally mentioned her dad, who had always supported her running. She stated how he never made it past 18 miles, and she did it for him. Moreover, her father is also proud of her achievement.
Zeirlein added that she could finally consume champagne and meat to celebrate her marathon success.
Moreover, Nicole participated in the 2020 Houston Marathon on 20th January and had a new personal record of 3:48 which made her a Boston Qualifier. Many people praised her athletic legs as well.
Nicole Is interested In Music And Longhorns
Nicole is fond of music and traveled to watch the Ronnie Milsap concert on 19th September 2021.
She traveled to the Round Rock Amphitheater, Texas, to witness the country musician’s songs. The first CD she received from her dad was of Ronnie during her high school year. Today, she plays Milsap’s songs frequently during her road trips.
On 11th August 2021, Nicole attended the concert of her favorite band, Wilco, at the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. She also added the Amphitheater’s experience was better than expected.
Nicole booked a ticket to the Lenny Kravitz concert on 16th September 2019. The venue was the Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land. She captioned on her Instagram how it was a perfect ending to her weekend. She also gave a fun fact: “The first dance at our wedding was by Lenny Kravitz.”
Her love for the Texas Longhorns
As a proud native of Texas, Nicole is a fan of the college football team, the Texas Longhorns.
Nicole made a trip to Colorado, traveling to the DIA Denver International Airport, museums, and seeing the Wilco rock band. She shared her travel on 12th August 2021 and was seen in the Longhorns’ orange hoodie.
Likewise, she donned the Longhorns T-shirt while visiting the top of Texas at 8751 ft. She hiked to Guadalupe Park and proudly climbed the trail to share her memorable moment.
Nicole also shared an IG post about her watching TV at a hospital on 30th November 2019. She tuned in to watch the Longhorns play against Texas Tech. She penned, “Watching Texas with my dad. Grateful for fabulous nurses who are taking care of him.”
Lance Zierlein Family Life
Lance Zierlein family of seven consists of four sons and a daughter.
All the kids have been living in Texas with their parents. Nicole takes them on their travels as well. She has shared many trips with them on social media.
Drake is the eldest child in the household. He celebrated his birthday on 18th May with his siblings and guardians. Nicole also talked about how disciplined he was with his workout routine.
Mason is involved in theatre acting at his school. Nicole expressed her pride when her son moved forward in the UIL advanced theatre team competition on 1st November 2019. Mason was born on 15th September 2006.
Mari Zierlein
Mari was born on 18th December 2010 and is interested in swimming.
Nicole proudly shared her daughter won the 1st position at the Willow Pool swimming competition on 21st June 2019. Mari excelled in all three categories: free, breast, and fly. Mari had missed most of her swim team activities for six months due to injury but bounced back high.
Her mom proudly states that she is a feminist in the making and has a strong sense of justice. Nicole lovingly calls Mari her Sunshine.
Moreover, the mother-child duo spent quality time dining at the Manor House at the Houstonian Hotel on 8th December 2018. Mari had joined the wedding preparation for her mom’s kin.
The Zierleins Trips with their Children
Nicole traveled to South Padre Island, Texas, on 8th August 2020 with her children.
She expressed that it was a great week and that she had made a trip to the island since high school. She shared photos of her kids swimming on the shores and making sand castles.
On 9th September 2018, the household traveled to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston to witness its beauty. Nicole remarked on her IG about seeing the Bamboo on a rainy day. She also added her frustration that they had to wait in line for 2.5 hours.
Lance and Nicole traveled to Mesa Cortina Trail, Colorado, on 19th July 2021. She expressed that the waterfall was worth the hike.
Their hiking adventures have taken them to other breathtaking places like the Friedrich Wilderness Park and Acadia National Park.
