Certain businesses have historically been naturally male-dominated. One of them is weather research. This kind of stereotypical mindset is presumably because earlier in those arenas, women had no interest. The situation, however, is shifting fast, thanks to women like Kristen Currie!
Early Life & Family :
Kristen was born and raised there and is originally from Southern California.
She did not get to see anything in the way of weather fluctuations, or even active weather, while living in California as a kid.
As a consequence, when she was growing up, Kristie never displayed any curiosity in weather phenomena!

As she won entry to the University of Colorado Boulder, Kristen’s whole perception of ‘the skies’ and ‘the world’ shifted. She graduated with a degree in environmental science, with a major in climate studies and a minor in atmospheric and oceanic sciences.
In addition, Currie holds a credential given by Mississippi State University in Broadcast Meteorology.
She had to sit up late for this qualification several days, focusing on projects or attending seminars in the classroom during the past three years. She also enrolled in a 3-day course that I attended.
Career, Income, Salary & Net Worth :
Kristen took up about a year of internships with two firms in Denver during her time in Colorado.
KMGH-TV had one of them, while KDVR-TV had the other one.
Thanks to them, she obtained realistic experience in predicting volatile and sometimes complex meteorological conditions in and around the Mountainous Mountains.
She hitched her bandwagon to KAMC-TV in Lubbock, Texas, after she graduated.
For two years, she delighted fans with exhilarating on-air experiences connected to dusty winds, frozen weather, hailstones, windy temperatures and extreme storms!
She joined KRQE News 13, New Mexico, after two years of work. She anchored “This Morning (4:30 AM)” and “KRQE News 12 at Noon,” along with KRQE.
New Mexico is meant to be the Place of Magic, according to her.
