Kottonmouth Kings Net Worth, Income, Salary, Earnings, Biography

The Kottonmouth Kings are a hip hop group from the city of Placentia in the county of Orange in the state of California. The Kottonmouth Kings, who define themselves as “psychedelic hip-hop punk rock,” formally founded in 1994 and have been touring since. They are made up of Daddy X (formerly of Humble Gods and X Pistols, as well as former singer of Doggy Style), Lou Dog (formerly of Humble Gods and former drummer of Doggy Style), D-Loc, DJ Bobby B, and the newest member/vocalists: The Dirtball. The song “Suburban Life,” which featured on the soundtrack of the film Scream 2, was the group’s first major hit and brought them widespread recognition.

A year after forming in the summer of 1998, the Kottonmouth Kings released their first album, Royal Highness, on Capitol Records. With the release of their third studio album, High Society, in 2000, they started to achieve mainstream popularity, and in the autumn of 2001, they embarked on a tour with D12/Primer 55 and Bionic Jive. In 2006, the Kottonmouth Kings performed as the opening act at the Cannabis Cup and were awarded “Band of the Year” by High Times magazine. Daddy X and KMK departed Subnoize Records as a result of disagreements between Daddy X and Kevin Zinger, according to a source. Later in 2013, it was reported that Daddy X and KMK have teamed together to establish a new record label called “United Family Trust.” Kottonmouth Kings frontman Johnny Richter quit the band in October 2013, although he is still contracted to Subnoize Records. On April 20, 2014, Kottonmouth Kings (Daddy X, D-Loc, and The Dirtball) released their debut album without Johnny Richter, titled “The Buddah Shack EP,” which was their first release without Richter.
