Ko Jin-young is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. She has won 10 times on the LPGA of Korea Tour by the age of 22.
She claimed her maiden tournament in February, the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, being only the second woman LPGA player to win in her first tournament.
Meet Ko Sung-tae And Kim Mi-young
ko Jin-Young was born to the parents Sung-Tae and Kim Mi-young. Her father is a boxer and her mother started to play golf as an adult.
The athlete claimed that she was different from other LPGA Professional golfers in that she was not taught to golf by her grandfather or parents.
Although she said her mother used to play golf, which she started when she was an adult, she added that she never brought her to the range or any golf matches.
She tried playing five-six golf games with her father. Since then, she has developed a fascination for golf and chose to pursue it as a career.
