It has been confirmed that his death caused is cardiac arrest which the doctor couldn’t save him. Kishore Mohanty was elected from the Brajrajnagar assembly constituency of the BJD ticket after he defeated the BJP candidate Radha Rani Panda.
Kishore also served as the state Assembly speaker from 2007-2009. From 2004 to 2007, he was known as chief whip of the government previously.
