Who is Kimberly Anne Scott?

Kimberly Anne ‘Kim’ Scott was born on 9 January 1975 under the sign of Capricorn, in Warren, Michigan USA, so her nationality is American, and she belongs to White Caucasian ethnicity. Kim is a 45-year-old freelance illustrator and writer, but probably best recognized for being the ex-wife of famous American music artist Eminem.

How rich is she, as of now? Kimberly Anne Scott Net Worth

Kimberly Anne Scott’s net worth is estimated at over $2 million, largely as a result of the divorce settlement from Eminem. Her ex-husband is one of the most successful artists in the music industry, and has an impressive wealth reputedly over $230 million.

Following the custody battle over their children, Eminem has to pay over $52,000 annually to Kim.

Early Life, Nationality, Ethnicity, Education

Kimberly Anne Scott spent her early years in her hometown of Warren, raised by parents Caismer and Kathleen Sluck. She is the identical twin of the late Dawn Scott, who passed away from a heroin overdose in 2016. Kim had a very difficult childhood since her father was very abusive, so at the age of 13, she and Dawn ran away from home and lived at Youth home in 1988. Kim met Eminem at a house party and they became very close friends, so Kim and Dawn soon moved in with him and his mother Debbie Nelson, who became the guardian of the sisters.

Volatile Relationship with Eminem

Eminem and Kim fell in love and started their on-and-off relationship in 1989. They welcomed their daughter, named Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, on 25 December 1995, the only biological daughter of Eminem and Kim – the rapper even dedicated the song, entitled “Hailie’s Song”, to her. In the following year, Eminem and Kim broke-up but they get back together in 1999 and tied the knot for the first time in the same year, but after two years in marriage, they filed for divorce in 2001. Kim then had an affair with tattoo artist Eric Hartter and gave birth to a daughter, named Whitney Scott Mathers, on 16 April 2002. Whitney was later legally adopted by Eminem as well as the daughter of Kim’s sister Dawn Scott, named Aliana Marie Mathers, who was born on 3 May 1993.

Re-Married to Eminem and Divorce

Following her divorce from Eminem, Kim became a drug addict, and was even arrested and charged with drug possession. Upon her release from jail, she started living with Eminem again, and in 2006 they decided to remarry, however, they had separated and then divorced by the end of that year. She also has a son, named Parker Scott, whose biological father is not disclosed.

Controversies

The problems they had apparently made them hate each other. In 2000, Eminem saw Kim kissing their mutual friend John Guerra, and assaulted him for which he was sentenced to two years in prison – he even recorded the song “The Kiss (Skit)”, rapping about the incident.

In the same year, Eminem released the song “Kim” in which he expressed his hate towards her. During the performance of this song at one of his concerts in Detroit which she attended, Eminem beat the doll which represented Kim. It was followed by her attempt to commit suicide by cutting her wrist, and she tried to take her own life again in 2015 by driving her car into a pole. Eminem eventually apologized to her for the pain he caused in the song “Bad Husband”.

Appearance and Vital Statistics

Kim Scott has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands at a height of 5ft 9ins (1.78m), while she weighs around 136lbs (62kgs), and her vital statistics are 34-29-37. Her bra size is 33B, and shoe size 9 (US).

Where is she now?

Kim and Eminem have a relatively normal relationship now, and share custody of their biological daughter Hailie, while Eminem has full custody of their two other daughters, Whitney and Alaina. Her current residence is in the suburbs of Macomb, Michigan. Kim works as a freelance illustrator and writer of the children’s books, puzzles and greeting cards.

Ex-Husband Eminem Short Wiki/Bio

Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known as Eminem, was born on 17 October 1972 under the sign of Libra in St. Joseph, Missouri USA, to Marshall Bruce Mathers II and Deborah R. Nelson-Mathers. His father left when Eminem was a toddler, so he was raised by a single mother.

He had a very difficult upbringing since they moved a lot and lived in very poor conditions. He went to several high schools, but eventually dropped out from Lincoln High School at the age of 17.

Rise to Fame

In 1996, Eminem released his debut studio album entitled “Infinite”, which was a commercial failure. Anyway, he continued making music and released the 1997 extended play “Slim Shady EP”, and shortly afterwards started working with Dr. Dre’s label Aftermath Entertainment, through which he released the album, entitled “The Slim Shady LP”, which topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200; the main single “My Name Is” peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Eminem’s third album “The Marshall Mathers LP” was put out in 2000, and debuted atop the Billboard 200, and earned him the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. The main single “The Real Slim Shady” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Continued Success

Eminem continued to line up successes, and issued his fourth album “The Eminem Show” in 2002 – it topped the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Album of the Year. In the following year, Eminem released what became his first No. 1 single, entitled “Lose Yourself”, which earned him the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

He made public his fifth album “Encore” (2004), with such singles as “Ass Like That”, “Mockingbird”, and “Just Lose It”, then recorded albums, “Relapse” (2009) and “Recovery” (2010), both of which earned him Grammy Awards for Best Rap Albums, and the latter spawned No. 1 singles “Not Afraid” and “Love The Way You Lie”, featuring Rihanna. Eminem’s eighth album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”, was issued in 2013, and debuted atop the Billboard 200. His next No. 1 albums were “Revival” (2017) and “Kamikaze” (2018), and most recently his eleventh album entitled “Music To Be Murdered By” came out in 2020, and it also debuted atop the Billboard 200.

Eminem is the sixth artist to have at least ten No. 1 studio albums, moreover, all of the albums debuted atop the chart in a row, which made him the first artist to achieve that.

Other Ventures

Between 2000 and 2006, Eminem was a part of the hip hop group ‘D12’, and they released two No. 1 studio albums – “Devil’s Night” in 2001 and “D12 World” in 2004. He also co-formed the duo ‘Bad Meets Evil’ with hip hop artist Royce da 5’9″. In 2011, the duo put out their debut extended play “Hell: The Sequel”, which inevitably topped the Billboard 200. In addition, he established the record label, Shady Records, alongside his manager Paul Rosenberg back in 1999. Moreover, he has published two books, “Angry Blonde” (2000), and “The Way I Am” (2008).
