Will Kim Bodnia return on Killing Eve? What happened to Konstantin?

Adopted from: express.co.uk
Published: October 16, 2018

In the film Killing Eve, Villanelle’s (played by Jodie Comer) handler Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) was shot in the final episode of Killing Eve.

On her escape from prison, a new handler gives her her next target to assassinate and it is Konstantin.

In Moscow, Villanelle kept his daughter Irina (Yuli Lagodinsky) as a hostage after she broke into his home and he escaped from her.

All the core characters then meet at a restaurant to trade Irina for Villanelle’s passport.

There is a messy showdown and Konstantin is shot by Villanelle.

However, we don’t see he his body so it was left ambiguous as to whether he actually died or not.

With season two of the series being worked on and due for release next year, official casting announcements have been made but Kim Bodnia is not mentioned. That still leaves the question in many fan’s minds, Will Kim Bodnia be in Killing Eve season 2?

Season two has a new lead writer on board with Emerald Fennel taking over from Waller-Bridge.

It is possible that Bodnia could return for season two if it turns out that Konstantin survived or he could alternatively appear via flashbacks.
