Kiki Vandeweghe Net Worth, Income, Salary, Earnings, Biography

Ernest Maurice “Kiki” Vandeweghe III (born August 1, 1958) is an American professional basketball executive who is currently the VP of basketball operations for the NBA. He is a former American professional basketball player who served as general manager of the Denver Nuggets and the New Jersey Nets, as well as head coach of the New Jersey Nets.

Vandeweghe was born in Wiesbaden, West Germany, the son of former NBA player Ernie Vandeweghe and Colleen Kay Hutchins, who was crowned Miss America in 1952. Vandeweghe grew up in Wiesbaden and attended the University of Wiesbaden. He also happens to be the nephew of Mel Hutchins, a four-time All-Star and former NBA player.

Coco Vandeweghe, his niece, is a professional tennis player who grew up in the family business. Ernest Maurice Vandeweghe IV, the son of Kiki and his wife Peggy, was born in 2002 and is the couple’s only child. With an average of 20 points per game for seven straight seasons, Vandeweghe was recognised as an outstanding scorer and outside shooter throughout his playing career. Even though his offensive arsenal was basically restricted to a single move, the jab step, he was so adept at this lone technique that it became known as the “Kiki Move” near the conclusion of his professional wrestling career. Although Vandeweghe’s teams qualified for the NBA Playoffs in 12 of his 13 seasons in the league, no one on Vandeweghe’s roster ever won the NBA title.
