Former Mahindra Group chairman and well-known Indian businessman Keshub Mahindra. Because he recently passed away at the age of 99, he has been in the headlines.
On October 9, 1923, in Shimla, British India, he was born. He attended Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania after finishing his formal education and received his degree there.
In 1947, Keshub began working for the Mahindra Group, which his father J. C. Mahindra helped co-found. In 1963, he was given the position of chairman.After serving as the group’s chairman for 50 years, he retired in August 2012, and Keshub then gave his position to his nephew, Anand Mahindra.
